The mission of Women Going Wild Guide Service started with a dream to do what we love: teach others how to love and appreciate the outdoors, enjoy, and have confidence while doing it.
I have been fishing my whole life. I graduated from Unity College in 1998, with a bachelor's degree in Environmental Science and became a registered Maine Guide in 2010. I worked in fisheries and managed and guided a remote fly-in only fishing lodge. I grew up in a remote homestead in Alaska and learned many survival skills. There, I fell in love with the wilderness and gained self-confidence from my awesome family. I am originally from down east, Maine where I established my hardcore work ethic and thick skin.
My goal is to create an outdoor experience and build confidence within you to safely enjoy the outdoors and take it wherever it may lead you......
My guides and I are professional and experienced with a variety of wilderness skills and look forward to teaching you. We want you to grow in confidence going into the wild.
